Temple desecrator will go on trial in Simferopol
A 36-year-old Crimean man will stand trial for desecration of an Orthodox church and calls for illegal activities.

The corresponding charges of extremism and vandalism were sent to the court by the prosecutor of the republic, Natalya Poklonskaya, the press service of the department reports. It is reported that the previously convicted Crimean is accused of two articles – Part 1 of Art. 280 (public calls for extremist activities) and Part 2 of Art. 214 (vandalism).
“According to investigators, the accused covered buildings in one of the districts of the Crimean capital with inscriptions calling for illegal actions against representatives of a certain political party. In particular, an Orthodox church became the target of vandalism,” the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
