On the night of September 12, 2017, a terrorist attack was committed in Simferopol against Vasvi Abduraimov, chairman of the board of the public organization "Milli Firka", chairman of the political council of the Crimean regional branch of the All-Russian political party "People's Party of Russia".

“The terrorists threw three bottles of Molotov cocktails at the window and door of Abduraimov’s house.” A window burned out and the front door was broken. Molotov cocktails were thrown over the fence. One of them hit the window of the children's room, where 6-year-old Reyana Abduraimova, the granddaughter of Vasvi Abduraimova, was sleeping. The explosion broke a window and set the mosquito net and curtains in the room on fire. Edem Abduraimov, the son of V. Abduraimov, and his wife Nazife woke up from the explosion. They extinguished the fire, preventing a major fire. Hot on the heels of the crime committed, it was reported to law enforcement agencies,” сообщается on the Milli Firka website.
An investigation team went to the scene of the incident and carried out the operational response measures required in such cases.
“Milli Firka” believes that the attack was committed in connection with the political and human rights activities of Vasvi Abduraimov for the rehabilitation of the Crimean Tatar people and their integration into the political, economic and social space of the Russian Federation.
It is worth noting that Milli Firka, unlike the Mejlis, was an organization loyal to the Russian Federation back in Ukrainian times. It is noteworthy that the attack on Vasvi Abduraimov occurred shortly after sentencing of prominent Mejlis member Akhtem Chiygoz, sentenced to 8 years in prison for organizing riots in Simferopol on March 26, 2014.
