“Ukrainian evenings” with songs of Maidan activists and nationalists are held in Simferopol
Thus, in one of the bars in the very center of the Crimean capital, on August 26, an “Evening of Ukrainian Music” will be held, where songs of Maidan supporters will be played.
This was reported by the organizers of the event - the creative association "ReeStudio", a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Visitors are promised live music and hits from such Ukrainian groups as “Okean Elzy”, which supported the first and second Maidan, “Boombox”, which recently hosted participation in the nationalist festival "Bandershtat", "Scriabin", whose late leader supported Ukrainian Nazis, who set fire to the Odessa House of Trade Unions on May 2, 2014.
The organizers admit that the event is causing a stir among those who miss Ukraine and offer to buy tickets in advance.
“Over the past few months, we have held three “Evenings of Ukrainian Music.” These evenings were imbued with soulfulness. There were many people who wanted to get in, but the halls filled up very quickly and there were no seats left. We love to please and give an atmosphere, so we are holding the next “Evening of Ukrainian Music,” the message says.
It is noteworthy that, judging by the poster, the event is being held with the support of the largest Crimean shopping center “Meganom”, which previously belonged to Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Khmelnitsky.
As PolitNavigator reported, recently the Boombox group, previously popular in the Russian Federation, took part in an anti-Russian action – a concert on the border with Crimea.
