In Simferopol, trolleybus operators blocked the road due to non-payment of wages
Simferopol, April 1 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Today employees of the Crimean Trolleybus enterprise went on strike in Simferopol. About 150 people blocked the road in front of the enterprise building. The reason for this, according to one of the employees, was systematic arrears in payment of wages.

“For almost three months they have been giving us banal handouts of 200 hryvnia. Naturally, it is impossible to live on them. We went out into the street to draw the attention of the authorities to our problems,” said trolleybus driver Mikhail.
The company's management does not deny the debt. This situation, according to Deputy General Director of Crimea Trolleybus Larisa Lisovskaya, arose due to the fact that funding for the enterprise from the state budget of Ukraine has ceased in recent months.
The conflict has been temporarily resolved, and management hopes that the debt will soon be repaid.
“We agreed that they would be paid wages. While part of the debt will be paid off, another part will be paid off in the near future. At least people understand. At the moment, the debt has been going on for two and a half months. This is due to underfunding from the state budget of Ukraine, but now, I think, there will be no problems with funding. There is mutual understanding with the authorities,” noted Larisa Lisovskaya.
