According to them, a BMW car, moving along Vernadsky Avenue towards the Moscow Hotel, flew into the oncoming traffic, making a head-on collision with a trolleybus heading towards Maryino.
The driver of the foreign car ran out of the car in a state of shock, stood on his knees and asked for forgiveness from the people nearby. The man had a severe head injury and a cut eyebrow.
The passenger of the BMW, a pregnant woman who was in the front seat next to the driver, died.
The victim was pinned in the car from a strong blow, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations officers pulled the woman out of the car using special equipment.
The arriving ambulance team stubbornly tried to “start” the pregnant woman’s heart, but they failed.
According to traffic police officers, the driver and passengers of the trolleybus survived.
