A rally of “Svidomo” was banned in Simferopol - they promise to “get through in any case”
Representatives of Ukraine, which is exotic for Crimea, were denied permission to hold a rally at the monument to Taras Shevchenko in Simferopol, which was planned for March 9 on the occasion of the poet’s birthday. The founder of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Crimea, Leonid Kuzmin, stated this on his page on the social network.

He attaches scanned copies of the warning from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Kazakhstan, which states that holding a rally with the participation of up to 20 people has not been approved by the Simferopol city administration.
In response to a proposal from user Ekaterina Glutskaya to hold a rally late in the evening of March 8th or early in the morning of March 9th, Kuzmin added: “In any case, we will get there.”
