Simferopol, July 01 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Tuesday, after the completion of the reconstruction, the taxiway at the Simferopol airport, the so-called southern exit from the runway, was put into operation.

The website of the Federal Air Transport Agency reports this.

As a result of the reconstruction, taxiing time from the apron to the runway has been reduced from 22 to 7 minutes, the number of takeoff and landing operations will increase from 5 to 15 per hour.

The reconstruction, as planned, was completed in time for the busy holiday season.

Let us remind you that by July 1, the number of flights from cities of mainland Russia to and from Simferopol exceeded 100 units per day.

New international flights are also expected, for which the Simferopol airport is ready to serve, the Federal Air Transport Agency emphasizes.
