In the near future, Russia will create an analogue of the USSR - Georgian writer
In the near future, Russia will again become the center of unification and create a union of states that do not share the position of the West.
Georgian writer and public figure Merab Ratishvili stated this on Day TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It seems to me that this is not fortune-telling, I have a feeling, as a writer, as a citizen who observes, studies, watches and so on, tries to make some kind of analysis, the period is very near when the Soviet Union will be restored . It’s not the Russian Empire, which many want, they want exactly the empire, because they have imperial thinking, but the Soviet Union, more balanced, because there was a concept of equal rights for citizens of the Soviet Union,” the writer said.
“I don’t mean the USSR, because there will be no Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the USSR - as a space, a single economic, even a single political space. Maybe there will be a Union of Independent States or a Union of Sovereign States, and Eastern European countries will ask to join, because in the current state of the European Union, do you even hear their voices?
Only Orban is trying to do something, the rest are put in conditions without the right to vote, because they have such debts that they will never pay it off, they have no future,” Ratishvili said.
