Sculptures of a girl and a boy-trumpet player were located in niches on the sides of the entrance to the buildings. During the demolition process, the girl’s sculpture fell into pieces, but the pioneer’s sculpture was preserved.
The demolition of Soviet monuments in Ukraine is carried out within the framework of the law on so-called decommunization.
