The chief of staff of the Crimean Front, deputy of the Primorsky Village Council, Yuri Pershikov, told Navigator.
According to him, SBU officers are calling Orthodox activists and demanding that they organize a religious procession with icons and banners to Mount Karachun in the Slavyansk region, which is held by Ukrainian security forces.
“It is possible that the Kyiv authorities intend to stage a bloody provocation against Donetsk residents under Orthodox symbols, to expose the procession to the fire of security forces or punitive forces, in order to sharply destabilize the situation in the region,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
