Acting spoke about this. the head physician of the hospital, Mikhail Andriyanov, noting that as of June 5, 9 people were being treated.
“Many were discharged because their injuries were no more serious. We are resolving issues about transfer to the regional hospital in Nikolaevka. Seriously ill patients who cannot be here. There is a corridor when they are not shooting. Unfortunately, it also happened that we sent the car and then returned it only because it was dangerous to drive there. And the ambulance also found itself under bullets. Under crossfire,” he said.
“People come in mostly with shrapnel wounds. Bullet wounds are only combat wounds; there were only a few bullet wounds from the military. These are mainly shrapnel wounds - penetrating different parts of the body: the abdominal cavity... several people were operated on here. Basically, these are the limbs, chest, shoulders, legs, arms. At first there were a lot of people from Semenovka. Then from different ones. Mashmet, Cherevkovka area,” the doctor said.
“At the moment we can provide assistance. Medicines are available. But every time they give us a helping hand... We turned to the Red Cross in France. Today a colleague called from Moscow and they should send it to St. Petersburg. But delivery issues are very complex. There were civilians who brought it, and doctors used their own money to buy what could be bought at a pharmacy,” Andriyanov said.
“We switched to emergency mode and maximum evacuation. Because in times of danger they need to be moved to bomb shelters, and this is not always possible,” he emphasized.
