The cause of the emergency was a three-liter jar covered with foil with the inscription “Mercury,” which was brought by local activist Vasily Khomenko. The hardware meeting was disrupted, the Slavic mayor Vadim Lyakh called the police and wrote a statement about the disruption of the work process.
“The deal on the house for 1 UAH was disrupted. for orphans. Now it is at risk. Notaries had to come, deputies and the mayor made every effort, going out on weekends to make this deal happen today,” Lyakh said.
According to the mayor, such an unprecedented case jeopardizes not only this event, but also a number of other meetings, not to mention the meeting of the executive committee itself.
There were no comments about the purpose of activist Khomenko’s sabotage with “mercury.”
