The presentation of the book took place on the basis of the Donbass State Pedagogical University, part of the staff of which defected to the side of Kyiv and moved to Slavyansk, controlled by Ukraine.
Kushch is the author of many humorous and satirical stories, as well as works for children. His texts were published in Donetsk, Lugansk and Kyiv publishing houses. Kushch is also a laureate of the Lesya Ukrainka and Ostap Vishny literary awards.
At a meeting with students, the author played two books, asking those present several questions about the history of Ukrainian literature. The work is about war. The author tried to tell children about the war from a “pro-Ukrainian” position, in a language accessible to them, using images of domestic animals that are full-fledged participants in hostilities.
