Slavyansk, May 02 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The leader of the people’s militia of Slavyansk, chairman of the executive committee Vyacheslav Ponomarev addressed the residents of Slavyansk and called on women, children and the elderly not to go out into the street today.

Ponomarev stated this in a video message.

“Our city was attacked. Our city is being stormed. There are losses. I will ask children, women, and pensioners not to leave their homes. Men who are carrying weapons should provide all possible assistance. I think we will defend our city. Thanks for your attention, thanks for your help. We will win,” Ponomarev said.
