A video report of one of the raids appeared on YouTube. Near one of the shops in Slavyansk, a young man was detained for purchasing alcohol long after midnight, reports the Slavgorod publication.
The seller sold beer, citing the fact that this young man was her acquaintance, who spent more than an hour trying to persuade her to sell him alcohol, which was prohibited after 20.00. As a result, about fifty bottles of vodka, displayed near the store, were poured onto the ground amid cries of “We will defeat you, green serpent.”
“There are notices on the store, all employees have been warned, the person I hired has literally been working for three days, she was familiar with the situation,” explained the store owner, emphasizing that there were no violations on his part specifically.
Representatives of the Self-Defense stated that all self-defense actions were coordinated with the mayor, and this store will be closed until the circumstances are clarified.
As Navigator reported, by order of the “people's mayor” Vyacheslav Ponomarev, a “prohibition law” was introduced in Slavyansk, which prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages after 20:00 to 10:00.
