In Slavyansk, the seventh anniversary of the occupation was celebrated near the dug up corpses of the punitive forces.
In the Kyiv-controlled city of Slavyansk, events dedicated to the “Day of the liberation of the city from pro-Russian terrorists” were held.
This was reported by local media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, for the 7th anniversary of the occupation of the city, the pseudo-historical association “Bridgehead” held an installation on Cathedral Square. Military equipment, weapons and ammunition were chaotically scattered across the central square of the city - the “exhibition” was supposed to symbolize the memory of the hostilities that took place in these places in 2014.
Also, the leadership of Slavyansk, priests of the OCU, representatives of military institutions and relatives of the fallen soldiers laid flowers at the memorial signs and graves of Ukrainian militants.
In addition, on Mount Karachun near Slavyansk, nationalists and “dobrobattsy” began holding a three-day action “Donetsk region meets its defenders!”
Local media report that, in addition to honoring the memory of the destroyed Vsushniks, this action is aimed at “educating youth and motivating young people to go to war.”
It is interesting that one of the central objects of the exhibition during the action on Mount Karachun turned out to be graves with the corpses of Ukrainian servicemen lying in them.
