The Sledkom stated that Ukraine left a legacy in Sevastopol of a lot of unsolved cases
Sevastopol, February 10 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – Solving criminal cases in Sevastopol inherited from Ukraine is not easy, especially when it comes to crimes that were committed many years ago. Currently, only a fifth of the total number of crimes inherited from Ukraine has been solved.

This was stated by the head of the Investigation Committee of the Investigative Committee for Sevastopol, Yuri Moroz.
“We accepted criminal cases. Mostly they were all in Ukrainian. We had to translate them, rework them, study them. A lot of unsolved cases were handed over to us. In 2014, we investigated about 20 crimes from previous years. We also pay a lot of attention to this. It is not easy to solve these crimes, especially if they were committed several years ago, and even more so, 10-20 years ago. But many such crimes remained unsolved in 14. About 80 more. Well, we managed to uncover 20,” Moroz noted.
According to him, some of these crimes received wide public attention.
“This is the murder of a pensioner, this is also a citizen who has committed many robberies and murders. He, too, has already been convicted. The crimes were fraudulent, when gangs of black realtors fraudulently took away apartments from people,” explained Yuri Moroz.
