“Next time you will die”: Mejlis member announced an attack by people “with special physical skills”
Belogorsk resident Riza Asanov, one of the members of the Majlis support group that provided assistance to the arrested sailors of the Ukrainian Navy, reported an attack while filming an open section of the first stage of the Tavrida highway.
“...I was attacked at the end of filming. I felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder. I noticed a black oblong object that looked like a baton. Then I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. After that I lost consciousness.
Having come to my senses, for some reason it turned out that I was already lying near my car, and I heard a man’s voice: “This is the last warning.” The second voice said: “The next time we meet, you will die.”
The accent was clearly from the Russian mainland. Having come to my senses, I tried to get behind the wheel and drive to the regional hospital. I was there until 11.00. As it turned out, bruises and a concussion.
I wrote a statement to the police. But at the same time, no one gave me any confirmation of my application. They gave me a receipt that I had turned it in.
In this whole story, everything is clear, except for the man who walked like one of his own at the police station and smiled at me as he left. By the way, I noticed him in the hospital. Experience shows that it was not just a passer-by,” Asanov shares his conspiracy theory.
He also claims to have been attacked by “people with special physical skills”: “I didn’t even have time to turn around to see them. These are people with special physical skills. They weren’t even embarrassed by the cars that were scurrying nearby.”
His statement has already been widely circulated by Ukrainian television channels as evidence of “repression in Crimea.”
