Slovakia does not believe the Ukrainian version of the incident in Azov
The leader of the Slovak National Party (SNS) and Chairman of the Slovak Parliament - National Council Andrei Danko believes that the Ukrainian government may be hiding the truth about the events of November 25 in the Azov-Kerch water area.
About it reports the party's press service.
According to the head of parliament, this conflict must be resolved with a “cool head, and not pointing fingers until it is known how this happened.”
“It is very dangerous for us if tensions increase. But it’s just as dangerous for us to make statements from day to day based on articles from the media,” said Andrei Danko.
“I am not the person who trusts Poroshenko. Again, Ukraine reportedly cheated with a dead journalist. (Later the party clarified that we are talking about a special operation with Arkady Babchenko - Ed.). We must calmly look at all the events and facts, but in fact I am afraid that some people have simply played with us again. Don’t ask us to immediately make judgments and don’t demand a million sanctions, important peace between Ukraine and Russia,” he said.
Danko also mentioned the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine in the context of events in the Sea of Azov.
“It is also necessary to perceive the specific situation in Ukraine - not everything is white or black. We pray that this conflict will end as soon as possible through diplomatic means. However, sanctions are ineffective. Slovakia must insist on such pressure that both sides sit down at the negotiating table and resolve the situation without martial law,” Danko said.
Let us recall that on November 25, in the Black Sea, border boats of the FSB of the Russian Federation opened fire on a ship group of the Ukrainian Navy and captured three ships.
