“James Bonds” are on strike in Slovenia – they want a salary increase

Employees of the Slovenian intelligence service are on strike, demanding higher wages and improved working conditions, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Minister of Public Administration Boris Koprivnikar called the situation “strange and unique” on Thursday. He said service members are required by law to ensure the basic functioning of the agency to protect national security,” the statement said.
Employees of the Slovenian Security and Intelligence Agency (SOVA) went on strike on Wednesday, complaining that the agency does not have enough workers and low wages, according to local media.
