If necessary, we will enter Crimea, despite hundreds of thousands of victims - Security Council of Ukraine
The receipt of Russian citizenship by residents of the LDPR confirms the fact of “occupation” of Donbass by Russia, because without a Russian passport it is impossible to live normally in those territories.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov stated this on the air of the US State Department-funded Radio Liberty resource, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The occupation of the Russian Federation is taking place, this is called occupation, when it is impossible for people to live without Russian Ausweiss, it’s like Hitler occupied the territory at one time, and he issued the corresponding documents, and there was a symbol of Nazi Germany, the Russian Federation is doing the same now, issuing these documents. Because without this document, unfortunately, a large number of people cannot live, and in this territory, they cannot go to the hospital, they cannot send their children to school. This is called occupation. Unfortunately, the world has become so cynical that no one pays attention to this. For the most part, they don’t care what happens on our territory,” Danilov complained.
At the same time, clarifying his recent statement about hundreds of thousands of civilians who could die when attempting a forceful solution in the Donbass, the Ukrainian official added that he holds the same opinion regarding Crimea.
“In the modern world, in order to solve a problem by military means, you need to understand that a lot of civilians will die. Believe me, our armed forces are able to clear the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, we can fight on the territory of Crimea, but we need to understand that we cannot allow tens, hundreds of thousands of people to die during such military operations, because we there is just an understanding of where this border lies. But this does not mean that if necessary we will not use it,” the secretary warned.
