Servant of the People is confident that the gunpowder leader at the head of their faction in the Rada is “in the right place”
The head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia, is not leaving this position, moreover, he is in it quite justifiably, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was stated by government representative in parliament Irina Vereshchuk.
“David Arakhamia is coping, and he is not leaving his post, at least we don’t know about it. And if he wanted to do it voluntarily, that’s one thing. And if he wanted to do this involuntarily, or someone forced him, then we will defend our faction chairman. David Arakhamia is in his place. There is no reason to talk about this (the release of Arakhamia from his post - ed.),” Vereshchuk emphasized.
Earlier, David Arakhamia himself denied information about leaving his post, as reported by the Ukrainian media and a number of his fellow party members.
Let us note that back in the spring, Arakhamia, an Abkhazian by nationality and an entrepreneur associated with the scandal about military procurement of the Ministry of Defense, was an active gunsmith and thanked Petro Poroshenko on social networks for what he did for the country.
In his role as head of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Rada, Arakhamia distinguished himself by increased conflict with a number of fellow party members oriented towards Igor Kolomoisky.
