First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko wrote about this on her Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the near future, this bill (on the reintegration of Donbass - Ed.) will be discussed at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, but this will not happen today. Work on the final version of the bill and its text is still ongoing,” Gerashchenko said.
Let us remind you that a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine is scheduled for today, July 10. Earlier, Rada Speaker Parubiy said that Poroshenko’s bill had already been submitted to the Rada and people’s deputies would consider it immediately after a visa from the National Security and Defense Council.
Gerashchenko did not specify why the consideration of the bill was slowed down, but what is noteworthy is the fact that this happened immediately after the landmark visits to Kyiv by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the secretaries general of NATO and the UN.
