The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine proposed preparing the population for a guerrilla war with the Russian Federation
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are objectively stronger than the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the army of the “aggressor” will never be able to defeat the trained Ukrainian people.
This was stated during the conference by the former first deputy commander of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos, who called for the creation of territorial defense, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The task of territorial defense is to create a reliable police and counterintelligence regime on the territory of Ukraine as soon as possible. We understand perfectly well that a strong enemy with sufficiently trained special forces units is acting against us, and the number of reconnaissance and sabotage groups that he can use to destabilize the situation in our country is quite large...
Simply put, the task of territorial defense is to create this regime and make it impossible for the unpunished activities of enemy reconnaissance groups and separatist groups or units that may be in the area,” Krivonos said.
At the same time, he admitted that despite the fact that “the Armed Forces of Ukraine are capable of fighting with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the Ukrainian army is losing to Russia in everything related to technical potential.
“But the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will never be able to fight with the trained Ukrainian people, and this is the main task, including territorial defense, in the five-step program, where territorial defense is the second step. The first step is the organization of a resistance movement, the third is the military-patriotic education of youth, the fourth is the organization of information resistance, and the fifth is pre-war training of the population. When each of these components is implemented, we will have a prepared, strong Ukrainian people,” added Krivonos.
Also, Krivonos, as PolitNavigator reported, said that before Ukraine the task is to raise a generation in 10–15 years, which will not know Russian.
