There was a split in the Socialist Party of Ukraine: Rudkovsky was expelled from his post of leader
Kiev, June 27 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) - A split occurred in the once popular, and now half-dead Socialist Party of Ukraine - some members of the SPU stated that Nikolai Rudkovsky falsified the procedure for his election to the position of party leader and is obliged to leave this post.
In particular, former SPU leader Pyotr Ustenko made accusations against Rudkovsky at a press conference in Kyiv.

According to him, the congress where the election of Rudkovsky to the post of leader was announced was “illegitimate because it was held in violation of the rules.”
In addition, the socialists accuse Nikolai Rudkovsky of supporting the notorious “dictatorship laws” and not conforming to the ideology of the SPU.
“He voted for a number of bills related to the dictatorship. Therefore, he cannot be in the ranks of the SPU and cannot be in politics. Rudkovsky absolutely did not understand the demands of society, which now needs the political establishment to free itself from those people who imposed dictatorship on us,” said Pyotr Ustenko.
How can a person who has the same understanding of socialist ideology as the head of a brothel be a socialist, Denis Rusak, a member of the SPU political council, is perplexed.
“A person who is completely degraded and has no moral and spiritual qualities cannot raise the question of the idea of social equality, justice, etc. at all. A person who has Lexuses and gas wells - what does this person have to do with socialist ideology?” - said Rusak.
“Our political party needs to cleanse itself. Socialists must understand that times have changed. People are different now, and they understand what is happening, they will ask clear questions. And people like Rudkovsky will set the country on fire a second time,” the activist added.
