Kyiv, September 11 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Ukrainian military has retreated from the border with the Russian Federation in the area from Starobeshevo to Novoazovsk.

This was stated by the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrei Lysenko, commenting on the expansion of the zone controlled by the militia.
Lysenko explained this decision of the command by stopping the practice of leaving individual units in areas that could be quickly surrounded. “Now a decision has been made to create a united front line. Our individual servicemen who remained in positions were withdrawn,” he said.
Lysenko claims that the line of defense recorded today is equipped and protected by fortification. “Now we have a single line, which excludes the possibility of the formation of “cauldrons” and the need to withdraw our military from encirclement,” he said.
As PolitNavigator reported, the militias previously reported that they had “squeezed out” the Ukrainian military from several dozen settlements. In addition, last week it became known about the formation of a “cauldron” in Debaltseve: the militia squeezed the Kievan Rus battalion.
