Kyiv, December 09 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine states that the Ukrainian military has ceased fire, however, the regime of silence cannot be maintained.

“From 10 a.m., the Ukrainian military stopped all fire, from small arms to artillery. They are fulfilling the conditions regarding the day of silence, although two artillery attacks have already been recorded - two so far - by terrorists,” says Andrei Lysenko, speaker of the National Security and Defense Council Information and Analytical Center. According to him, Ukraine is counting on an objective assessment of these days from the OSCE.
At the same time, the press center of the ATO headquarters announced six cases of violation of the silence regime.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko said that the militia would suppress enemy firing points in order to prevent shelling, as well as respond to shelling.
