The Federation Council questioned Ukraine's right to sovereignty
Russia acts as the vanguard of those countries of the world that defend their sovereignty.
Dean of the Faculty of World Politics at Moscow State University Andrei Sidorov stated this at a meeting of the Federation Council commission for the protection of state sovereignty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When we say now that we are fighting for sovereignty, we are fighting it not only for ourselves, but for the whole world. Sovereignty is a luxury that not everyone can afford. I’m not sure that Ukraine should retain its sovereignty after our special operation, like many other small states. In the modern world, sovereignty is based, whether we like it or not, on force. Here it is necessary to strengthen our strength and propose our own order,” Sidorov said.
The chairman of the commission, Andrei Klimov, objected to him.
“You can save what you have. Sovereignty in Ukraine was not observed and is not observed. It will be difficult for them to preserve what does not exist,” Klimov noted.
