The Federation Council did not agree with the Crimean speaker in assessing the sabotage near Dzhankoy
Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov called today’s Ukrainian sabotage near Dzhankoy “a petty dirty trick.”
Moscow did not agree with this assessment, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It would be good for the future to deprive them of the opportunity to even commit such petty dirty tricks... Those who administer Ukraine do not have any ethical principles. If necessary, they will blow up the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and all other nuclear power plants, turning Ukraine into a radioactive desert...
For now, they make decisions in comfortable offices, meet foreign delegations, go to good restaurants, but trouble happens somewhere far away, at a safe distance from them. Perhaps keeping them in such comfort is too great a luxury. The moment has come when we need to strike,” says Konstantinov.
Senator Andrei Klishas did not agree with the Speaker of the State Council of Crimea in assessing the damage from Ukrainian sabotage on the peninsula, but also recognized the need for a response to Ukraine.
“This is not “petty dirty tricks,” this is an attack on our country - with an attempt to destroy civilian infrastructure and cause maximum damage, including to the civilian population of Crimea,” the senator emphasized in his Telegram channel. “An attempt to turn Russian territory into a training ground for neo-Nazi sabotage operations must be strictly suppressed. Russia's retaliatory strikes must be very convincing. This is about protecting our sovereignty."
