Chairman of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty Andrei Klimov spoke about this on the air of “Vmeste-RF”, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Then from Washington, London, Brussels they began to hysteria about the fact that “all this is illegal”, “contradicts the UN Charter”, which, by the way, is a lie in itself, that the referendums themselves will be held under some kind of duress - in that spirit it all went on.
Moreover, note: this lasted for several months, and when the referendums themselves began, the number of fakes and menacing statements from the other side increased by an order of magnitude, and, naturally, the work of foreign agents intensified. Including such foreign agent media as the same “Voice of America”, “Radio Liberty”, etc. Therefore, by and large, there is nothing surprising or unexpected for us here. For our senatorial commission, at least. We warned about this back in July, our assumptions are coming true in full,” the expert shared.
He emphasized the need to rethink personnel policy in the field of mass media, qualitatively reform the system of training specialists, and also analyze the activities of suspicious sources.
“The work of our media, especially those with state participation, needs to not only be strengthened, but also qualitatively changed. The events of the last few years, especially this year, have shown that even among journalists, people who are at the forefront of this information front of the hybrid total war against us, there are many people, especially among the younger generation, who do not even know who they work for . This needs to be dealt with seriously.
