The Federation Council is taking measures against large-scale destabilization of the Russian Federation
The US is using fugitive Russian liberals to “contain Russia.”
Chairman of the Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty Andrei Klimov stated this today at a meeting of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Three days ago, a special report of the Atlantic Council was published in the United States. Considered an undesirable entity in Russia, this Cold War creation proposes an ambitious plan to contain Russia on the world stage. Including the widespread use of Western proteges who fled abroad and served as foreign agents for us. It is planned to increase influence on Russian citizens using digital platforms,” Klimov said.
In this regard, according to him, the authorities are intensifying efforts to “land” IT giants in Russian jurisdiction.
“Whoever did not manage to fulfill the requirements of the new Russian law before January 1 should seriously hurry up in order to avoid problems. The Commission will continue preventive work against defectors hiding from Russian law. We also must not ignore the very dangerous provocations of warmongers with Russia and events related to attempts to destabilize the political situation with the participation of external forces along the Russian borders,” Klimov said.
