The Federation Council called on Russian citizens to tune in to the regime of “active defense”
Already in 2017, the United States adopted legislative norms to begin the active phase of the information war against Russia.
Chairman of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty Andrei Klimov recalled this on the air of “Together-RF,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our commission has been talking about this for five years, starting in 2017. A few months after the formation of our commission, the American law PL115-44 “On Containing America’s Adversaries” came into force, and Russia is in first place. All this was expected,” Klimov urged.
According to him, in the American Information Attack Command Center, “auxiliary branches” are under the leadership of London and Brussels, and the Kiev regime is considered a “regional division” and is headed by Washington.
“We need to get ready for serious, consistent work both in preventing any form of interference and in “active defense.” “Active defense,” including in conditions of information warfare, means a lot, and sometimes is decisive,” the senator concluded.
