The US and EU are preparing resolutions to remove Putin from power
The main goal of the West recently has been the desire to influence the Russian presidential elections.
This was stated today in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation by the Chairman of the Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty and Prevention of Interference in the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Andrei Klimov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the West today they are not trying to hide that their main goal is the Russian presidential elections. It is no coincidence that in mid-November a draft resolution was introduced into the American Congress on the non-recognition of the 2024 presidential elections if Vladimir Putin, unacceptable to Washington Russophobes, participates in them.
This begs a simple question: what does the US Congress have to do with it? We are not a US protectorate, we are not talking about the President of America, but about the head of the Russian state, who will be determined only by the people of the Russian Federation themselves.
The September resolution of the European Parliament also contains an unlawful call to exclude Putin’s participation in Russian government. Almost the same forces are demanding that their own proteges be brought to power, including those convicted of criminal offenses, including extremism,” Klimov said.
