American and Canadian companies that previously supplied components for the production of weapons to Ukraine no longer want to cooperate with Kiev.

Sergei Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv.
He shared the details of the conversation with the director of one of the companies that develops homing heads for advanced missiles.
“Today, British and American companies have started to create obstacles. Our American partners warned us that from 2017 they will not supply critical equipment to Ukraine. And this was a fairly stable Ukrainian partner,” Zgurets said.
According to him, the company that manufactures simulators for combat fighters and helicopters also had problems. Previously, software was supplied from Canada for the production of these products, but at the end of last year, the Canadian partner sent a letter refusing to continue cooperation.
“They said that there was a high risk of this software getting into Crimea, and therefore there was a refusal,” the expert complained.
