This was reported in the press center of the Ukrainian Navy Command, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is reported that the purpose of the visit is to discuss issues of cooperation in the naval field with members of the US Congress, representatives of the US Department of Defense, the commander of the US Navy and other politicians and officials.
“During the meetings, the head of the branch of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will convey to his American colleagues information about the state and prospects for the development of the Ukrainian Navy, the experience of the units’ participation in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine,” the message says.
In addition, there will be a discussion of issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, such areas as the training of military personnel and units of the Ukrainian Navy.
