The USA consoled Ukraine: “The circus and the zoo are the price for democracy”
Ukrainians are not yet accustomed to political struggle, and therefore what is happening in the country seems like a mess to them.
Former NATO representative in Russia Harry Tabakh stated this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication “Apostrophe”.
“Ukraine is a democracy, and you cannot predict who the next president will be. Yes, Ukrainians are not accustomed to such a struggle for power, so it seems to you that this is a mess and lawlessness. But if you look at what a mess and chaos we have in Congress... In the US Congress they throw shit at each other, fight and swear, in Israel there is generally a circus and a zoo going on. This is the price for democracy,” Tabakh said.
