In the United States they complain that Russian society’s support for the SVO is not decreasing
After almost two years of full-scale war, the countries of the Western bloc did not manage to shake the morale of the Russians.
Professor of Political Science and International Relations Gregory Pop-Elias stated this during a press conference at Columbia University, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The level of support of the SVO. We see that overall it is around 65-70%, almost all the time. We could see some increases in early 2023 followed by some declines in the summer. Since then the situation has remained fairly stable,” Pop-Elias said.
He emphasized that Russia cannot be shaken by short-term but scandalous events like the rebellion of Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The American professor emphasized that the highest support for the NWO is observed in the regions that are closest to the conflict zone.
“But in general the geographical differences are small,” the sociologist added.
“About 60 percent of people consider the CBO to be successful, just under 30 percent think it is not. And a significant number of respondents did not answer.
But nevertheless, recently there have not been any significant trends regarding the perception of SVO,” concluded Pop-Elias.
