“At 14:00, a grandfather came to the checkpoint (which is located at the extreme point of the village near the shore of the Seversky Donets), who introduced himself as a local resident, presented the military with a 3-liter jar of honey, thanked them for their service and left.
When the soldiers tried to taste the honey, the jar exploded (there was an explosive device inside),” said Gennady Moskal, Chairman of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
According to him, as a result of the explosion, one soldier was killed and three were injured.
