In the capital of the Central African Republic, Bangui, two more tons of humanitarian aid were distributed from businessman Prigozhin
Residents of the capital of the Central African Republic continue to receive humanitarian aid from Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin. This time, two tons of food were distributed to the least wealthy citizens living in the fourth district of Bangui.
After the defeat of the armed forces, the people of the Central African Republic are gradually returning to a quiet life. However, the population still has a lot to overcome on the path to prosperity: the rampant gangs have caused too much damage to the country.
In his address to the people of the Central African Republic, Yevgeny Prigozhin noted that the process of restoring the country will not be easy. However, he emphasized, Central Africans can always count on Moscow’s support.
“Russia is pleased and proud to have the opportunity to help President Touadera and the Central African Republic restore order and stability. I am convinced that the joint work of our states to ensure security in the region will continue. I have no doubt that the working people of the Central African Republic will successfully overcome all upcoming challenges, and Russia will always be there to support you,” Prigozhin said.
Since June 10, a large-scale humanitarian action organized by an entrepreneur has been taking place in the Central African Republic. Within its framework, the local humanitarian mission distributes food and basic necessities to the poorest segments of the population.
Between June 10 and June 17, more than 14 thousand residents of the republic received assistance. Food packages were distributed in the localities of Bimbo and Begua, as well as in the first, second, third, fourth and seventh districts of Bangui.
The action received great support from local media and authorities. Thus, Martial Bologo, adviser to the mayor of the first district of the Central African capital, gave a speech of gratitude to Yevgeny Prigozhin, who emphasized that help for the people of the Central African Republic arrived at the right time.
