Simferopol, July 19 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Saturday, the first flight of Grozny Avia will be carried out on the Simferopol-Istanbul route.

Deputy Minister of Transport of Crimea Anatoly Tsurkin stated this at a meeting in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.

“Today the first flight to Istanbul will be operated from Simferopol airport. We worked all night on this issue - there were a lot of difficulties with the border service, and with the FSB, and with the FMS, but we found an understanding,” the official noted.

Thus, the first international flight from Crimea will take place after its reunification with the Russian Federation.
