In Sumy and Glukhov, Jewish centers were covered with anti-Semitic inscriptions
Before the New Year in Sumy, the inscription “Down with the Jews” appeared on the wall of the charitable organization “Sumy Jewish Fund”, and on the Museum of the History of Jews in Glukhovshchina the slogan “Death to the stinking Jews”, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The inscriptions remained on the walls of the buildings almost until the holiday, causing outrage among both representatives of the Jewish community of these settlements and ordinary residents. According to local experts, this action is a continuation of the campaign of desecration and destruction of monuments and cultural sites in the region, which is also aimed at discrediting local authorities.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, actions of a similar nature took place in Odessa before the New Year; in particular, anti-Jewish slogans were painted on the walls of the buildings of the local synagogue, the Holocaust Museum, and the Jewish cultural center. Then the ultra-right organization “Ukrainian Orderlies” took responsibility for the crime. Even the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a call to punish the perpetrators.
