Like other volunteers, they will have to undergo shooting exercises with different types of firearms, reports the Topgorod publication.
In addition, city council deputy Anatoly Zhuk, who is the leader of the EU: European Sumy deputy group, said that he was going to volunteer in the ATO zone. According to him, he already has all the necessary uniforms and official weapons for this, but is still in the city.
While not everyone can go to the eastern regions of Ukraine, many volunteers are accepted into self-defense units. So far there are not enough people willing to protect strategically important objects of the regional center - only a third of the required number.
As Navigator reported, earlier the chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council Vasily Skrypnychuk wrote an application for voluntary mobilization into the army and invited fellow deputies with him.
