“Zelensky recruited drug addicts to his team” - Gerashchenko
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is initiating mass drug testing.
Deputy, member of the European Solidarity faction Irina Gerashchenko stated this from the rostrum of parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, this decision is prompted by recent scandals involving parliamentarians who were under the influence of drugs.
The Greens do not see anything that is happening in the country. They are always in a drug haze. Just imagine, just in the last week two “servants of the people” were caught violating traffic rules while drunk and high on drugs. You know, what we fought for, that’s what we ran into. Zelensky began his vigorous activity by submitting tests to some pocket structure; until now the country has not seen their results. So I selected the appropriate team for myself. We are now addressing the hall with the fact that we are initiating today on behalf of all voters, every deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine must pass a drug test in order to understand who has been gathered in this hall,” Gerashchenko said.
Let us remind you that last week, Verkhovna Rada deputy, former member of the Servant of the People presidential faction, Alexander Yurchenko, caused an accident in Lviv, tried to escape from the scene of the accident and attacked the driver of the damaged car with his fists. Later, traces of a narcotic substance were found in his blood.
Deputy Evgeniy Bragar found himself in a similar situation, who claims that the police stopped his car, demanded a bribe and, after refusing, accused him of using drugs.
PolitNavigator also wrote that President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky sent to the Verkhovna Rada request to convene an extraordinary plenary meeting mainly to pass a law on medical cannabis.
It is also interesting that on the eve of the second round of the presidential elections in 2019, Zelensky passed a drug test.
