About it reported on the website of the regional department of the National Police.
The police received a report of a conflict between patients from the nurse on duty. The drunken showdown was carried out by a 61-year-old man who had been previously convicted several times and a 26-year-old guy.
“First, the youngest of the opponents punched a resident of the village of Reniv in the face, and he, without hesitation for a long time, ran to the kitchen, grabbed a knife and stabbed the 26-year-old guy in the stomach,” the police said.
“The victim with a penetrating wound and damage to vital organs is currently in intensive care. Doctors assess his condition as serious. A 61-year-old man was detained by police. It turned out that he has more than one conviction for causing grievous bodily harm,” the report notes.
The attacker is now in jail. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being decided.
