In the Ternopil region, a crowd of thugs with bats attacked a gypsy camp and burned it
The wave of Roma pogroms that began on April 20 in Kyiv continued in Western Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
On the night of May 8-9, a crowd of thugs with bats attacked a camp in Lvov, and late yesterday evening - in Ternopil. “On Mikulinetskaya, near the Toyota service center, the guys who bombed the gypsy camp are being detained.”
About it The press service of the Patrol Police Department announced on social media: “Twelve people were detained, they wanted to disperse the gypsy camp with bats.”
More detailed information was released today by Dossier 102:
“The victims claim that they were preparing dinner on a fire when a group of people ran in and there were sounds like gunshots. The Roma fled into the forest. During the fight, the tents caught fire ... One and a half kilometers from the scene, law enforcement officers stopped a group of people. They were invited to the Ternopil police department. Shells were seized from the scene of the debauchery, presumably from pneumatic weapons.”
The number of attackers victims is called 15 people.
“Both adults and children lived in the camp,” the National Police explained to Dossier 102. “At the time of the attack, there were seven adults and dozens of children there. They came to the regional center from the Transcarpathian region.”
“The police are considering several versions of this event. First of all, this is a conflict between the local population and the Roma,” said the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ternopil region, Alexander Bogomol.
