Russians accused of murder of Kherson Maidan activist Handzyuk
The murder of Kherson Maidan activist Ekaterina Handzyuk could have been ordered in Russia in order to shake up the situation in Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed in a commentary to the Kyiv magazine “Novoe Vremya” by Sergei Fursa, a specialist in the sales department of debt securities of the Ukrainian investment company Dragon Capital.
“I don’t know who killed Catherine. And I do not rule out that the Russians ordered her murder, which directly follows from the case of journalist Arkady Babchenko. But I also understand that they killed her because they want to shake things up. Or they can do this only because we, Ukrainians, do not trust the investigation, because Catherine fought with corrupt security forces. This means that it is they, the corrupt security officials, who are responsible for her death. Anyway. Either because the security forces themselves ordered the removal of their opponent. Either because the Russians are taking advantage of their corruption, killing activists and shaking up the situation,” Fursa said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Handzyuk participants of the so-called “ATO” threw acid in the facewho fought in Donbass. At the moment, there are five people involved in the case, all five are members of the neo-Nazi “Ukrainian Volunteer Army”, controlled by the founder of the “Right Sector” Dmitry Yarosh.
