Cans of paint were thrown at members of the Immortal Regiment
In Dnepropetrovsk, two unknown people threw cans of paint from the balcony of the Rassvet Hotel at a passing column of the Immortal Regiment.
This was reported by the local website “056” with reference to the press secretary of the Dnepropetovsk patrol police Lyudmila Kopylenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, May 9, during a procession of protesters (according to eyewitnesses, these were members of the Immortal Regiment), two unknown persons threw cans of paint at them from the hotel balcony. After that, they hung a banner on the railing. As a result, the paint hit not only the protesters, but also two cadets, as well as journalists.
At this point, it is known that one of the men was wearing an orange sweatshirt. There was also a camera on the neighboring building, which had a view of the balcony from which the paint was thrown,” the report says.
At the moment, the police are taking measures to establish the identities of citizens; information about the posted banner has not been specified.
