Students from territories temporarily controlled by Ukraine entered educational institutions of the DPR
In the Donetsk People's Republic, the entrance campaign to higher and secondary educational institutions has ended. At the same time, some of the students came from the Donbass territories temporarily controlled by the Ukrainian junta, as well as from the Russian Federation and a number of regions of Ukraine.

This was announced today at a briefing by the head of the department of higher professional education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR, Tatyana Denisova, and the head of the department of secondary vocational education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR, Svetlana Danilchenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“By the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the DPR in 2017, 14930 places were allocated, financed by appropriations from the Republican budget of the DPR, which is 4016 more places than the previous year. 13057 places were distributed to educational organizations of higher professional education, to which 11188 applicants were enrolled (excluding quotas), including 475 applicants were enrolled within the framework of the Humanitarian Program for the Reunification of the People of Donbass,” Denisova said.
“Within the framework of the Humanitarian Program for the Reunification of the People of Donbass, 145 applicants submitted applications with a package of documents, 136 students were enrolled in training, 9 people from the territory of the Donetsk region, temporarily controlled by Ukraine, were enrolled in accelerated programs. In addition, 18 citizens of the LPR, 23 citizens of the Russian Federation and 9 citizens of various regions of Ukraine were enrolled,” added Danilchenko.
