Kyiv, March 29 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Stormy winds cut off power to 176 settlements in six regions of Ukraine: the Donetsk, Kherson and Poltava regions suffered the most.

“On the night of March 29, as a result of unfavorable weather conditions (squally gusts of wind), 176 settlements in six regions lost power, namely: Donetsk - 55 settlements, Kherson - 46, Poltava - 36, Dnepropetrovsk - 31, Zaporozhye - 5 and Kirovogradskaya - 3,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a statement.
Thus, in Kharkov, due to strong winds, several houses on Kholodnaya Gora, Saltovka and Gagarin Avenue were left without electricity. In addition, in the city center, the wind tore a large piece of metal from the roof of one of the houses.
