“I am receiving applications asking me to re-register the plots. Until the master plan is adopted, we will not re-register anything for anyone. More than 50 thousand land plots are assigned to specially protected natural areas and protection zones of cultural heritage sites,” Menyailo said.
The Sevastopol government has finally agreed on a draft law banning construction in priority areas. It will soon be introduced into the city Legislative Assembly.
In May 2015, the government of Sevastopol approved a list of 12 specially protected natural areas. Another one in the Laspi tract will have to be legally registered by the end of 2016. In addition, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation increased the protected area of the Tauride Chersonese Nature Reserve by 4 thousand hectares. The general plan of Sevastopol should be developed by the end of 2016.
